Children’s Network
offers infant care starting at 6 weeks of age, and our
infant/toddler programs extend through the age two. An infant or
toddler must first accept and trust a new adult in their world. The
caring attentiveness of our Caregivers allows your child to be happy
away from the intimate contact of the family. By providing an
atmosphere that is physically safe and emotionally warm your child
will feel secure.
Children’s Network
provides a changing environment for our
infants and toddlers. Activity centers that include large and small
motor opportunities, language and music activities as well as
sensory, buggy rides and outdoor play will fill every day. Your
child's learning success is assured by simple activities that match
developmental abilities and provide foundations for later, more
complex skills. The transition from infants to our toddler program
is full of exciting changes. Infants move from cribs, to mats,
bottles to cups, two naps to one nap, and begin daily outdoor play.
Our infants visit our toddler program for several days so that we
can ensure a successful transition.
Children’s Network’s
two year old program is carefully
planned to promote good self-help skills and independence, while at
the same time encouraging a sense of sharing and co-operation. At
the age of two your child will begin our theme-based early childhood
program which promotes age appropriate activities that stimulate
language, creative movement, music, and self help skills. At the end
of each week, parents are encouraged to pick up their child's
activity sheets and artwork. Communication is the key to your child
enjoying a successful program.
One of the biggest changes in most
two-year-olds is when they show signs of readiness for toilet
training. This interest is approached with love, patience and
understanding.
Children’s Network’s
preschool program is designed for
children three to five years of age. This concept allows child to
move ahead in areas they have mastered and work more slowly on the
areas of development they still need to work on.
We encourage parents to check the
“Our Day” posted outside the classroom so that you can be informed
of all activities.
All of our classrooms are open
concept and promote choices. Each room is center based and includes
a reading center, dramatic play area, manipulative center, art
center, block center and computer learning lab. Zoo-phonics, our
themed based phonics curriculum, Math Their Way, and handwriting
readiness promote a strong foundation by preparing the early
childhood student for success in kindergarten and beyond. The hands
on activities keep children actively involved as they learn to
recognize letters, explore beginning sounds, understand number
concepts and develop a positive character traits.
Children’s Network
offers at no extra charge to our parents
a weekly music and Spanish program.
Children’s Network’s
school-age program offers care for
children Kindergarten age through 12 years. This program provides
before and after school care, free transportation to and from local
elementary school, as well as a full day program for all out of
school days.
Our Summer Camp program is action
packed, offering bi-weekly themes, arts and crafts, water games,
sports, field trip outings and special events. Our popular
all-exclusive program allows parents to pay a weekly tuition rate
that includes all outings and activities. Some of our favorite field
trips are Putt & Fun, Roller Skating, Inner Space Caverns, Main
Event and Swimming! All school age children receive unlimited summer
vacation weeks. Children’s Network
believes that school age children need choices that interest their
age group. Our programs offer karaoke, video arcades, large
playgrounds, cooking classes, and much more.
